How I Passed the CPA Exam (Video)

What is the CPA exam?

The Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination is the examination administered to people who wish to become U.S. Certified Public Accountants. The CPA exam is used by the regulatory bodies of all fifty states plus the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and the Northern Mariana Islands.

The CPA exam is developed, maintained and scored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and administered at Prometric test centres in partnership with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).

Stay motivated

It is very important to stay motivated when you have an exam to take. Another motivational factor can be that passing the CPA exam will help you find a better job or be paid bonuses at work.  Having a CPA designation definitely gives you a competitive advantage in the job market.

Study every single day

The best way to prepare is to study for the exam every single day and do a larger amount of studying during the weekend.  Do not leave everything for the weekend because that way you won’t have any time for rest. Instead split your studying into small amounts during the week.

Schedule your exams

Sort out your exams and schedule them for a certain date. That way you will have an incentive to work for especially if you have paid the fees for them. Putting money on the line is definitely very motivational for you.
