Cornell University: Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management

Ivy League Academics. Industry Advantages. One of the biggest benefits of a business management degree from the Johnson School is access to our industry expertise. The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University offers a broad range of graduate programs—and they all benefit from our rich expertise in a variety of sectors, industries, and business functions. Among our most notable areas of specialization are consulting, entrepreneurship, investment banking and asset management, and technology. No matter which graduate program you choose, you’ll find elements of our industry expertise throughout your academic experience at the Johnson School. Our primary industry expertise—consulting, entrepreneurship, investment banking, and technology—aren’t degrees and programs themselves. Rather, the practical skills and knowledge you need to succeed in each of these fields are embedded throughout the curriculum, from core requirements and elective classes to internships, fellowships, and immersive learning experiences. Consulting Help improve, empower, and grow global organizations as a management consultant—or by thinking like one.   Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurial thinking will take you far, whether you plan to launch a new venture or use your skills and talents to help run a start-up.   Investment Banking and Other Finance Roles With math skills and market knowledge, you’ll find a wealth of opportunities in investment banking and other financial services careers.   Technology Do better work—in any field or position—by mastering tech tools and platforms and learning best practices in digital communication.
