Most importantly, I'd like to express the sense of community that I feel in the Smith School of business full-time MBA program. We are a class of 80 students. We have our own section of the building in the business school. Our administration office and career centre, and professor offices are right there too. Each student is assigned to a team of 6-7 class mates. Each team has a team room / board room. Also, most people live less than 10 mins from campus. The whole setup makes it easy for students and staff to stick around and always be near each other. Furthermore, the small class size and proximity to the admin means that the administrators all know us by name and all are willing and able to help with anything that comes up. (A far cry from my undergrad experience at a different university). Furthermore, as critical as some people are of the program (always looking to improve), it is when I am exposed to other business schools (competitions, student exchange, etc) that I realize the high quality of the Smith MBA program and the caliber of its students. It truly is an excellent program.
