EQUISThe Global MBA in Design, Fashion, and Luxury Goods blends creativity with business strategy, equipping managers and entrepreneurs with expertise drawn from Italy’s renowned excellence. Through an in-depth study of fashion and design business models across industries, students learn to merge product knowledge with specialized luxury management approaches—gaining both strategic vision and the skills needed for global expansion.
Close collaboration with top Italian brands, recognized worldwide for their quality, ensures a hands-on focus on fashion and luxury management. This program offers young professionals a transformative experience, both personally and professionally. By analyzing industry trends, students will identify high-value market segments and the key steps required to achieve success on an international scale.
This 12-month, full-time MBA is structured in two phases: the first term covers core management principles, while the second focuses on specialized topics. Led by an international faculty, the program includes guest lectures from industry leaders, a business lab, and real-world case studies. Students also complete a 500-hour internship at a leading design, fashion, or luxury goods company—or develop their own entrepreneurial project. The diverse student body, representing a range of cultures and perspectives, fosters dynamic discussions and networking opportunities.
Studies
The Global MBA is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience through a blend of coursework, practical projects, and hands-on industry exposure. The program includes 440 hours of class activities, individual and group work, and a 500-hour internship, ensuring a well-rounded education in business and management.
The academic year is divided into three terms. The first term, running from September 2025 to December 2025, begins with “Ice-breaking” weeks, followed by orientation modules and the first set of general management courses. The second and third terms, from January 2026 to June 2026, focus on track-specific courses, additional general management subjects, and professional development clinics designed to enhance students’ leadership and analytical skills.
The curriculum is structured into four key areas. Orientation modules cover essential topics such as statistics, finance, accounting, and management consulting. General management courses provide a solid foundation in corporate finance, corporate strategy, performance management, marketing, people management, geopolitical analysis, operations and supply chain management, and business planning. Track-specific courses delve into industry-focused subjects, including business models in fashion, luxury management, industrial design and branding, customer experience, and a capstone project. Additionally, professional development clinics explore business ethics, leadership mindset, diversity and inclusion, and the impact of digital technologies and AI.
Following the three academic terms, students complete a 500-hour internship at a company or agency in Italy or abroad. This experience allows students to apply their knowledge to real-world business challenges, working on management strategies, analyzing business operations, and developing innovative solutions. The internship is a critical step in gaining practical industry experience and building a professional network.
At the end of the internship, students will submit a final report to the Director of Studies, reflecting on their activities, key learnings, and the application of theoretical concepts in a professional setting.
For those interested, an extracurricular Italian language course is available to enhance their cultural and linguistic immersion. For more details on individual modules, refer to the “Courses” section at the bottom of this page.

26 years oldStudents have a voice. They're allowed to express their concerns to the managing team and for the most part, they're quite quick in giving meaningful responses.

33 years oldI was part of a class of 54 students from 32 different countries. The university brings over professors from other countries too. Exchanging opinions and sharing our own experiences with each other is fascinating. Besides my master degree education, I learned a lot about other countries, other cultures, and a lot about Italian culture, which I fell in love with. The career building program helped me find a job faster than other business schools I’ve heard of, that don’t even have a career building program. BBS encourages innovation a lot. Students are encouraged to share their experiences from which not only students but also professors learn from. I made friends from all over the world. I never felt discriminated for any reason. Even admissions personnel didn’t treat me as a number but called me by my name, which was not the case in other universities I applied to. If I went back to the past, I’d attend BBS again. It was an amazing experience, that lead me to the nice life I now have.

Furthermore, BBS takes pride in its diverse and inclusive environment, recognizing the value that different perspectives and backgrounds bring to the overall learning experience.
